ArtMint — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

In short: ArtMint does not collect anything. It has no servers, no accounts and no network code at all. Your photos never leave your computer, and your originals are never modified.

What data we collect

None. There is no sign-up, no licence server call, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no update check and no advertising.

What ArtMint reads

What ArtMint writes

Your original photos are never modified. ArtMint refuses to write over an input file — that rule is in the code and is checked by an automated test on every build.

Camera metadata

Converted images are re-encoded from raw pixels, so camera metadata does not survive the conversion. GPS coordinates, camera model, date and other EXIF fields present in your original are absent from the file ArtMint produces. Your original keeps its metadata; only the converted copy is clean. For most people this is a benefit — you can share the result without revealing where the photo was taken. If you need the metadata, keep the original alongside.

Network access

ArtMint makes no network requests. It contains no networking code at all. This is verified before every release: an automated test scans the shipped source for network calls and the build is rejected if any are found. The neural styles run entirely on your own processor, using models included in the download.

Permissions

The app reads only the files you explicitly open and writes only where you explicitly save. It requests no other system permissions.

Third-party components

ArtMint includes three neural style models by Caroline Chan (MIT licensed) and runs on Electron and ONNX Runtime. Full licence texts ship with the application — see LISANSLAR.md in the installation folder.

Children

ArtMint is a general-purpose photo utility. It is not directed at children, and since no data is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
