PageMint — Privacy Policy

In short: PageMint runs entirely on your computer. It has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Your PDFs, their names and their contents never leave your device — because the app does not make any network requests at all. Your original files are never modified or deleted.

What data we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no sign-up, no licence server call, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no advertising.

How PageMint handles your files

PageMint opens only the PDF files you pick yourself, through the standard Windows file dialog. It does not browse or index your disk.
Merging, splitting, rotating, reordering and page deletion all happen in memory on your device. Nothing is uploaded and no temporary copy is sent anywhere.
Page thumbnails are rendered locally and exist only while the app is open.
Closing the app discards everything it was holding.

Your original files

PageMint never modifies and never deletes your source PDFs. The result is always written as a new file, to a location you choose in the save dialog.
"Delete page" and "rotate" change only the document being built in the app — the file on disk is untouched until you save, and even then the original stays where it was.
The app writes nothing anywhere else on your system.

Network access

PageMint makes no network requests. You can verify this: disconnect from the internet and the application works exactly the same. The only exception is if you click a link to this website, which opens in your own browser — not inside the app.

Permissions

The app reads only the files you explicitly open, and writes only the file you explicitly save. It requests no other system permissions.

Children

PageMint is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. Since no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children either.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date above will change. A version that collects data would be a different product, and it would say so before you install it.
